With 20 years as an Air Force medical technician and over 16 years in Clinical Quality Assurance, Chris formed CAP with a vision of providing the highest quality services while creating lasting partnerships with his clients. His extensive work in GxP, including clinical, laboratory and manufacturing practices, makes him the go-to professional in quality assurance. He has worked with sponsor companies, contract research organizations and government entities to ensure their highest standards are met. This experience allows Chris to provide expert consulting advice which he has utilized managing multiple QA projects as a Quality Assurance Consultant for vendors and investigator sites worldwide.
After retiring from the Air Force in North Dakota, Chris and his wife now reside in Nebraska where they stay active in the local community and travel often to visit their children and grandchildren nationwide. Fall weekends are usually spent watching Green Bay Packer games, when he can't get to Lambeau Field, and cheering on the Huskers at Memorial Stadium.
Chris understands the importance of data privacy in this highly sensitive field. With that in mind he brought on Alexis in late 2018 as a part of the CAP team.
Alexis is excited to apply her legal knowledge as CAP's General Counsel but the majority of her work is in data privacy as the Compliance Officer. While earning her law degree, Alexis realized a career in compliance would allow her to be proactive rather than reactive when working with companies. Alexis strives to be at the forefront of this burgeoning field and values gaining the education and experience she needs to be a leader in the industry. She holds the two ANSI-accredited designations of Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E), both from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Alexis maintains CAP’s privacy operations and we hold ourselves to the highest standards in data privacy. In that way we can be a trusted partner and provide our services without opening our clients to unwanted risks.
Having lived all over the United States with her husband, an active duty United States Marine Corps helicopter pilot, the Trout family is settled in sunny southern Arizona for now. Their three energetic and adventurous kids keep Alexis busy. With her husband nearing retirement, they are looking forward to more family time together and lots of travel in the future.
After decades in the clinical and quality assurance industries, both in the military and private sectors, Chris had a vision of the company he wanted to build. In early 2018 he formed Compliance Audit Partners, LLC, to provide quality assurance and consulting services with high standards and a collaborative mindset.
CAP now provides auditing and consulting support to our clients worldwide. Understanding the changing requirements on the pharma industry CAP demonstrated its commitment to our clients by bringing on a Compliance Officer with a specialization in data privacy to help ensure working with CAP never increases the growing risks involved with your sensitive data.
